Everybody to Kenmure Street (12A) + Discussion
June 15, 2026
7:15 pm - 9:30 pm

In May 2021, a UK Home Office dawn raid triggers one of the most spontaneous and successful acts of civil resistance in recent memory. In Pollokshields, Scotland’s most diverse neighbourhood, hundreds of residents rush to the streets to stop the deportation of their neighbours.

Blending crowd-sourced footage with a clever re-enactment featuring verbatim testimony from the community who were there, Everybody To Kenmure Street is a moving demonstration of collective action and the power of peaceful solidarity. The film will be followed by a post-screening discussion hosted by Stand Up To Racism and Nottingham Refugee Forum
