A powerful testament to the human spirit, Mediha, a teenage Yazidi girl films herself bravely facing her past through her fight for justice after surviving ISIS captivity. Whilst rescuers search for her missing family members, she first takes care of her younger brothers in uncertainty. Her video diaries are an incredibly personal way to process her trauma, revealing the strength and determination of a young survivor.
Following the film, there will be a pre-recorded Q&A with Director Hasan Oswald and Executive Producer Emma Thompson. This 23m discussion is moderated by international correspondent Hind Hassan and features a video message from Mediha.
