DESCRIPTION:For Refugee Week 2026\, themed around courage\, this event high
 lights the resilience of women forced to flee conflict and persecution. Cu
 rator Diana Popescu\, alongside guest speakers from Nottingham City Counci
 l and local women’s networks\, share stories and insights. The programme
  includes a talk on Jewish women’s experiences\, Julie Weiss’s escape 
 from Austria\, and access to the “Journey Exhibition.” Attendees will 
 also hear first-hand accounts from refugee women about their challenges\,
